About us

This project is driven by two local Business Consultants who share common ground, and who have found solidarity and valuable support on our own journeys into our 50's.  

We are experienced Consultants in a well-connected industry network across the East of England. 

We have engaged in several innovative projects driving social capital across the region and we now turn our attention to a world that we know well; the challenges that many women face as they enter mid-life when everything can begin to look a little different. 

For Employers

On the 27th of January 2023, Jeremy Hunt urged the five million jobless and newly retired British to get back to work, declaring 'Your Country Needs You'.

And in the Spring Budget in March 2023 he went further.

'An enterprise economy can only grow if it can hire the people it needs...'

... for too many, turning 50 is a moment of anxiety about the cliff edge of retirement rather than a moment of anticipation about another two decades of fulfilment.

 So today I bring forward reforms to remove the barriers that stop people who want to work from working.'

We know there are tens of thousands of women in our country aged 50+ who are currently NEET (not in Education, Employment or Training). This cohort is a diverse group of experienced, often qualified, multi-talented, highly organised potential employees.

They are hard to reach simply because they are disengaged. Many would like to work but face unnecessary barriers that could be removed by innovative and equitable employers. 

We will build a community of committed employers who will support our mission and as a by-product help to solve some of their increasing recruitment challenges.

We can also help employers meet many of their CSR and ESG obligations and align their brands with a project that will make a significant impact on communities within Cambridgeshire.
